Roosevelt University, a Chicago-based institution founded on principles of social equality, struggled with fragmented internal communications: a password‑locked website that Google couldn’t index, a static intranet maintained by a single IT staffer, and a marketing bottleneck that made even simple announcements slow and cumbersome. The lack of social features, poor searchability, and unclear content ownership left employees frustrated and important resources out of date.

Roosevelt deployed Axero to create "Inside Roosevelt," using public and private spaces, a Broadcast Space for university‑wide announcements, document management, search, required‑reading workflows, and an easy “Report Incorrect or Missing Info” button. The result has been a culture shift toward content ownership and accountability, faster announcements and collaboration, strong faculty adoption (including the University Senate president as an advocate), and daily activity on the intranet with clearer governance to keep information current.
