Case Study: Soregies streamlines billing and issues over one million invoices a year with Axelor

The company manages the production and distribution of electricity through Axelor

Soregies, an integrated energy company in France, was faced with the limitations of its legacy business management software. To adapt to new market regulations and launch competitive new offers, its IT team needed a new, modular solution that could handle CRM, invoicing, collections, and accounting. After a market survey, they chose to work with Axelor because competing solutions were either too cumbersome, too specialized, or lacked the required features and modern ergonomics.

Soregies partnered with Axelor to build a custom "in-house" solution from the ground up using the Axelor framework and an open-source PostgreSQL database. This approach, facilitated by Axelor's open-source platform, gave Soregies full ownership of the code and the ability to easily upgrade its system. As a result of implementing the Axelor solution, Soregies successfully transitioned all of its electricity and gas customers to the new billing module within a year, and the system now processes over one million invoices annually for its 200,000 active customers.
