Bruno, Gerbino & Soriano (BG&S) is a 35‑attorney law firm in New York and New Jersey whose IT—5 servers and 2.5 TB of data—was protected by a failing legacy backup system. When new IT director John Prag discovered backups weren’t running and there was no offsite protection, the firm faced real risk to billing, email, and case management if a server outage occurred.
