Weintek Helps Optimize Machine Management Using AWS

Weintek, a Taiwan-based manufacturer of human‑machine interfaces (HMIs), needed to move away from manual, on‑site HMI management so customers could get instant, networked visibility into machine performance. To deliver its cloud service EasyAccess 2.0 and avoid hardware burdens for customers, Weintek built on AWS IoT (using AWS IoT Core alongside AWS Lambda, Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, and Amazon API Gateway) to enable secure, low‑latency connectivity and historical data access.

By integrating AWS IoT Core and serverless AWS services, Weintek accelerated development (cutting more than a month of work), offloaded HMI management from customers, and delivered continuous machine data streams that enable predictive maintenance. The AWS IoT–based solution secures MQTT connections, automates support alerts via AWS Lambda and API Gateway, and has helped customers—such as a U.S. coffee‑roasting manufacturer—reduce the risk of machine breakdowns and respond proactively to performance issues.
