HUDstats, a Netherlands/Hague-based esports data and analytics company, needed a more flexible and scalable generative AI setup to turn live game data into engaging stories for fans, coaches, and betting audiences. After initially using OpenAI, the team looked for a more capable solution on AWS to support rapid prototyping, model choice, and multilingual content generation.

HUDstats switched to Amazon Bedrock, alongside AWS services like S3, EKS, and AWS Glue, to automatically extract esports data, generate written content and video highlights, and enrich dashboards for customers such as LaLiga, KNVB, DreamHack Sports Games, and SIS. With AWS, HUDstats gained greater flexibility, scalability, and the ability to fine-tune models for different languages and use cases, while also eliminating manual data processing and enabling sub-second delivery of live statistics and content.
