MNC Group Elevates Vision+ to New Heights, Delivering Seamless Streaming to Millions with AWS

MNC Group needed to overcome scalability limits in its legacy OTT infrastructure so it could expand Vision+ and support major live sports streaming at global scale. To do that, MNC Group migrated its platform to AWS and used AWS Elemental services for OTT delivery, including MediaConvert and MediaPackage, with plans for MediaTailor.

AWS Elemental helped MNC Group launch the new Vision+ platform in just four months and handle extreme demand during the AFC U23 Asian Cup, with more than 2 million concurrent streams per match on average. The AWS-based solution also delivered more than 4 petabytes through Amazon CloudFront in one game, improved video start times by 60%, reduced playback issues by over 40%, and brought start times to under 1.8 seconds.
