IBM Consulting Earns Over 22,000 AWS Certifications to Deliver More Value to Clients

IBM Consulting needed to strengthen its cloud expertise to better serve clients as demand grew for AWS-based security, machine learning, and data analytics solutions. Working with AWS Elemental through AWS Partner Training and Certification, the company set out to upskill both technical and business employees across the organization.

AWS Elemental helped IBM Consulting build a broad certification program that led to more than 22,000 active AWS certifications, with nearly 9,000 earned in 2022 alone and a 100% increase in active certifications in 17 months. The added skills improved client conversations and delivery, including helping streamline a government benefits system so it reduced processing time from months to minutes while maintaining 24/7 availability.
