Explore.org is a nonprofit multimedia organization that streams live nature cams from more than 150 cameras to global audiences. Its challenge was delivering reliable, high-quality 24/7 video from remote wildlife locations while simplifying live production and camera control across many OTT platforms and devices.

Explore.org went all-in on AWS Elemental, using AWS Elemental MediaLive to process live feeds and switch seamlessly between live camera inputs and on-demand archive clips, while testing AWS Elemental MediaConnect to improve transport from remote regions. The result was simplified infrastructure, more reliable video delivery, and the ability to share live content worldwide through platforms like YouTube and Facebook, helping Explore.org focus more on its mission and less on its technology stack.
