STN, a fast-growing global teleport based near Ljubljana, needed to scale multiscreen delivery while maintaining broadcast-quality video and operational efficiency. With more than 650 channels and a growing OTT audience, the company faced the challenge of unifying broadcast and OTT headend workflows and delivering HEVC/H.265 streams to CDNs and millions of viewers with consistent quality and low bitrates.

Elemental supplied a software-defined video stack—Elemental Live managed by Elemental Conductor for HEVC transcoding into six adaptive-bit-rate profiles, plus Elemental Delta origin servers for CDN distribution—creating a unified headend for broadcast and OTT. The solution enabled STN to stream 20+ HD channels with improved compression efficiency and image quality, support rapid service growth and multiscreen delivery worldwide, and position the company to add higher‑resolution services like Ultra HD.
