Infodidac ASBL, developer of the school administration software ProEco used across 1,300 schools in the Belgian French Community, needed to turn a legacy, PC‑bound application into a flexible cloud service so schools and staff could work from anywhere. To do this they partnered with Awingu (and Microsoft Azure) to deliver a browser‑accessible workspace without rewriting ProEco.

Awingu implemented a customized, multi‑tenant Awingu workspace on Azure that publishes ProEco via HTML5, enabling rapid setup, minute‑scale upgrades, and easier management of schools and users. As a result—branded as CloudEco—Infodidac now offers anywhere/any device access, automated backups, and aggregated multi‑school access for administrative staff, while Awingu’s solution preserved the existing codebase and scaled to the organization’s 1,300‑school footprint.
