Code3 Leverages Awingu to Build a Cloud Flavour of their Fireplan Software

CODE3, a German ISV that develops the fireplan ERP for fire departments, needed a replacement for Azure RemoteApp after Microsoft discontinued that service. To provide mobile, cross‑platform access (macOS, iOS, Android, Linux and Windows) and to continue delivering fireplan from the cloud, CODE3 evaluated and chose Awingu, testing Awingu All‑in‑One via the Azure Marketplace.

By deploying Awingu on Azure, CODE3 gave customers secure, fast access to fireplan on any device, even in low‑bandwidth or network‑restricted municipalities that previously could not run the on‑premise software. Awingu’s platform‑agnostic, easy‑to‑manage package (with no third‑party contracts) improved scalability and deployment speed, restored functionality for customers with connection issues, and was supported by responsive Awingu support during rollout.
