British Royal used Awario's social media monitoring and analytics to keep track of online conversation and protect reputation across breaking news and ongoing topics. Their challenge was monitoring real-time buzz, spotting crises and sentiment shifts around multiple public figures (the Royal Family) and understanding who drives the conversation and where it originates.

Awario implemented alerts, dashboards, topic clouds, mention feeds and sentiment analysis to surface spikes, top mentions and geography. Using Awario, the team quickly detected a mention spike around Prince Philip’s car crash, measured Queen Elizabeth II’s sentiment (30.0% positive, 34.9% neutral, 35.1% negative), quantified princes’ share of voice (William 61.1%, Charles 20.8%, Harry 18.1%) and duchesses’ visibility (Camilla 9.2%, Kate 20.6%, Meghan 70.2%), and identified US-heavy attention and instances of online abuse — enabling faster response and clearer insight into reputation drivers.
