Wayne Township Utilizes AVST’s CX-E Unified Communications Platform to Support District-Wide Communications for 2,500+ Faculty and Staff across 20+ Schools

The Metropolitan School District of Wayne Township, a large K–12 district with 21 schools, ~16,000 students and 2,500+ faculty and staff, needed to rebuild its communications infrastructure to make staff more accessible and better support families. The district required a solution that would complement its existing Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Google Gmail environments, handle high call volumes (including multilingual callers), secure sensitive fax traffic, and provide high resiliency across campuses.

Working with ConvergeOne, Wayne Township deployed AVST’s CX-E unified communications platform, integrated with Cisco and Google and paired with XMediusFAX and Neverfail high-availability. CX-E’s Mobile Client, Personal Assistant and multilingual Automated Attendant improved voicemail access, caller routing and parent communication, deployment finished ahead of schedule, and staff response times doubled while delivering secure faxing and reliable, district-wide uptime.
