Lane Council of Governments Meets Needs of 6,000+ Users with CX-E

Lane Council of Governments (LCOG) is a voluntary association serving Lane County, Oregon—its 12 cities and other local districts. LCOG needed to replace aging voicemail and call‑processing systems across eight core agencies and 6,000+ users, addressing diverse requirements such as flexible clock‑based auto attendants, decentralized recording maintenance and high stability.

LCOG selected AVST’s CX‑E platform and used AVST professional services to import mailboxes, train staff and run old and new systems in parallel. The deployment (five systems with another planned) replicated key legacy TUI features, supports about 60 auto attendants, meets the agency’s 40‑second citizen access goal, and delivered a stable, scalable and cost‑effective unified messaging solution for 6,000+ users.
