City of Vancouver increases productivity during the pandemic with ProjectDox

The City of Vancouver faced pressure on municipal funding during the COVID-19 pandemic and needed to keep its building permit process running while staff worked remotely. With Avolve Software’s ProjectDox, the City of Vancouver maintained 100% online permitting and plan review, allowing staff to continue issuing building permits from home. By July 2019, the city had reached a 100% paperless goal across all permit types, and in 2019 alone it received $641 million in total valuation of building permits, helping keep revenue flowing during the pandemic.
