How NJORD Law Firm developed 22 templates in 3 months

NJORD Law Firm, a 260‑person international Nordic legal firm operating across four jurisdictions, faced the challenge of breaking conservative habits and harmonising document workflows across multiple offices and practice groups. To evaluate and modernise its template portfolio and encourage knowledge sharing, NJORD launched a three‑month contract automation pilot with Avokaado, using Avokaado’s platform to assess, structure and automate commonly used legal documents.

Avokaado worked with NJORD to run a flexible, office‑driven pilot that produced a central library of automated templates: 22 templates approved for use and 17 more under development across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The Avokaado pilot delivered live automation (including employment contracts already in use), stronger cross‑office collaboration, and a scalable proof‑of‑concept for further roll‑out, with NJORD planning KPI‑driven next steps and client‑facing solutions built on Avokaado’s platform.
