Your Neighbourhood Credit Union (YNCU) is a member-owned financial cooperative in Southwestern Ontario with 16 branches, more than 28,000 members and over $680M in assets. Facing the need to secure cash-handling areas and protect against theft and fraud, YNCU moved from an analog system to a high-resolution, IP-based surveillance solution to meet insurance standards and improve branch security.

YNCU deployed Avigilon Control Center (ACC) with High-Definition Stream Management, Avigilon 1 MP HD cameras at entrances, teller wickets, vaults and ATMs, and an Avigilon NVR to retain 90+ days of footage. The upgrade delivered superior image clarity, reduced bandwidth and storage needs by leveraging the existing network, exceeded recommended insurance requirements, and provided a scalable, cost-effective platform for future branch growth.
