The Town of Addison, a small but busy municipality in the Dallas area, needed to replace an outdated, hard-to-manage surveillance system and unreliable PTZ cameras to ensure a safe, high-quality experience for residents, visitors and businesses while protecting against theft, vandalism, injury and liability—especially during frequent large events.

Addison deployed dozens of Avigilon HD cameras across its 150,000 sq. ft. Athletic Club, 44,000 sq. ft. Conference & Theatre Centre and 20‑acre Addison Circle Park (with additional portable units for events), managed via Avigilon Control Center and four NVRs storing 30–90 days of footage. The new system delivered faster search and export, higher-quality imagery and improved reliability in all conditions, yielding better incident response, stronger liability protection and lower support and maintenance costs.
