Telford College of Arts and Technology, a further education campus in Telford, UK serving thousands of full- and part-time students across 12 hectares, needed high-quality, reliable and accessible coverage of key indoor and outdoor areas to protect students, deter mischief, and maintain its outstanding OFSTED safeguarding grade. The college’s aging analog system was difficult to manage and produced poor images, making investigations slow and ineffective.

Telford deployed the Avigilon high-definition surveillance solution—ACC software with HDSM, 2–8 MP and 8 MP panoramic cameras, analog video encoders and an NVR for 14 days of footage—managed by a four-person security team.
