A Avigilon Case Study
Rogers Public Schools is a Northwest Arkansas district serving over 15,000 students across 31 locations and 60 buildings. Facing repeated vandalism and theft, low-resolution cameras, gaps in coverage and a 25‑year‑old access control system, the district could not produce usable evidence, remotely manage doors or efficiently administer credentials—forcing time-consuming manual work and leaving campuses vulnerable.
RPS deployed Avigilon Unity Video and Unity Access with AI‑enabled H5/H4 cameras, classified object detection and Appearance/Motion Search to provide high‑resolution, analytic‑driven monitoring and browser/mobile access control. The unified system enabled remote management, faster investigations, successful prosecutions and restitution, reduced on‑site travel for staff, and improved overall safety and coordination with local responders—benefits the district continues to build on.
