Pfenning Logistics, a leading German retail logistics provider with 500,000 m² of storage, 3,700 staff and over 90 sites, needed a turnkey, high-performance video security and analytics system for its new Monsheim multicube hub. The main challenge was securing third‑party goods while overcoming low-bandwidth constraints at Monsheim and the Heddesheim HQ that could hamper streaming of high-resolution video.

Schweickert deployed an Avigilon end-to-end solution—60+ Avigilon cameras (fixed, PTZ, IR), Avigilon HD NVRs, ACC 7 VMS, self-learning analytics, LightCatcher and HDSM stream management—delivering high-detail imaging, AI-enabled detection and long retention with reduced bandwidth and storage use. The system improved night and day image quality, sped operator response to alerts, proved easily scalable for further sites (including a planned HQ upgrade) and is maintained by Schweickert.
