Malca-Amit, a global leader in secure logistics that ships a large portion of the world’s diamonds and jewellery, needed a surveillance solution to ensure the safe handling and delivery of high‑value cargo, meet UK Department of Transport “known shipper” requirements, and provide clear, indisputable video evidence of vehicles, individuals, and packages entering and leaving its warehouse and offices.

Working with Sovereign Fire & Security, Malca‑Amit deployed 65 Avigilon HD cameras (2 MP to 29 MP), analog encoders, Avigilon Control Center with HDSM and NVRs storing up to 90 days of footage, integrated with its access control system. The upgrade delivered higher-resolution coverage with fewer cameras, faster incident search and sharing, maintained “known shipper” status, improved employee productivity, safety and customer service, and reduced costs by about 40%.
