Liberty Public Schools - Customer Case Study

Liberty Public Schools, a fast-growing Missouri district serving about 11,800 students across 19–22 buildings, needed an integrated access control and high-definition video surveillance system to protect students, staff and assets and create the safest possible learning environment while reducing licensing and support costs.

The district deployed Avigilon Access Control Manager (ACM) and Avigilon Control Center (ACC) with HDSM™, pairing ACM with Mercury hardware and readers and installing 300 Avigilon HD cameras plus analog encoders. The centrally managed, web-based solution integrates with Active Directory, stores a week (or more) of footage, and delivered faster searches (10x), quicker incident response, lower installation/licensing/support costs, better image quality, easier administration and the ability to leverage existing hardware—prompting the district to standardize on Avigilon for future builds.
