East Texas Medical Center (ETMC), a network of nine hospitals and 39 clinics serving East Texas, faced growing security challenges as it expanded. An outdated legacy surveillance system often failed to provide reliable footage for incident investigations, exposing the organization to costly litigation and making it difficult to ensure patient and staff safety across multiple campuses.

Avigilon installed more than 500 cameras (HD Pro up to 7K, HD Dome, and H4 SL) and deployed Avigilon Control Center (ACC) software, allowing operators to pull and stitch footage from many views into a single timeline. The scalable, user-friendly solution delivered clear, court‑admissible evidence used in legal cases, sped investigations, reduced false liability claims, and enabled ETMC to gradually upgrade equipment across its network.
