Arden Fair Mall, a 77‑acre shopping center in Sacramento serving more than 10 million annual visitors, faced rising security risks and inadequate surveillance after operating with a legacy VHS/analog system. Management needed clearer, more reliable video to deter crime, support investigations and protect shoppers across its 165+ stores and large parking areas.

The mall upgraded to Avigilon’s high‑definition cameras and Avigilon Control Center NVMS, adding analog video encoders and three NVRs with 40 days of storage to improve coverage, low‑light performance, time syncing and mapping.
