Velma Rogers Graham Theatre Turns to Avid VENUE | S3L-X

Velma Rogers Graham Theatre, a 225-seat private venue on Rogers Communications’ campus in Toronto, needed a flexible audio setup to handle everything from corporate meetings and webcasts to concerts and TV productions. The team turned to Avid Technology and its Avid VENUE | S3L-X system, along with Pro Tools integration, to support the venue’s highly varied and fast-changing production demands.

Avid Technology implemented an integrated live sound and recording workflow that gave the theatre four-way routing for monitors, front of house, radio mix, and multi-track recording. The result was a simpler setup, less rental equipment, faster changeovers, better sound quality, and stronger creative flexibility. With Avid Technology, the theatre also reduced a 10-person webcast workflow to three people and expanded webcast reach from about 200 viewers to potentially limitless audiences.
