SCAD Students Find Success with Avid

SCAD School of Entertainment Arts needed a way to prepare students for real-world media careers while managing growing production demands across film, sound, and post-production programs. The school relied on Avid Technology tools such as Media Composer, Pro Tools, and shared storage workflows to give students hands-on experience with industry-standard systems and collaborative production processes.

Avid Technology implemented workflow and storage solutions, including ISIS shared storage, across SCAD’s production labs to replace manual hard-drive transfers and improve collaboration. The results have been strong: students can work across departments in the same workspace, SCAD produces over 200 senior films each year, and more than 85% of alumni are employed in their field or pursuing further education nine months after graduation.
