S6L Supports Breathtaking Production at Oslo Spektrum Arena

Karpe Diem, one of Norway’s biggest hip hop acts, faced the challenge of delivering three sold-out arena shows at Oslo Spektrum with a large, complex production and the need for maximum reliability. Working with Avid Technology and its VENUE | S6L consoles, the team needed a system that could handle 64 input channels, extensive routing, and seamless backup across front-of-house and monitor positions.

Avid Technology’s VENUE | S6L was implemented with four consoles, dual layouts, and redundant stage-box setups, allowing the show to run safely while staying entirely in the box with no external outboard gear. The result was a highly flexible, easy-to-use workflow with seamless file transfer from the S3L-X, powerful sound quality, and enough headroom to manage even larger shows; the production team also noted smooth operation for 91 channels and 50 performers at the venue.
