RTVE Catalunya Unlocks New Creativity and the Power of HD to Engage Audiences

Spanish Radio and Television Corporation (RTVE), through its RTVE Catalunya operation, needed a faster and more creative way to produce broadcast graphics for news, sports, and weather content. Using Avid Technology tools in its end-to-end workflow, RTVE wanted to improve real-time graphics creation and deliver more modern, engaging content without slowing production.

Avid Technology implemented Maestro | Designer to streamline graphics conception and enable real-time HD graphics without pre-rendering, scripting, or programming. The solution let RTVE create dynamic templates that could be updated on the fly, speeding production, reducing complexity and costs, and improving newsroom efficiency. As a result, RTVE could deliver more compelling on-air graphics for its channels and programs, including stunning HD visuals with only creative imagination as the main limit.
