Postworks, the largest independently owned post-production facility in the U.S., needed a more flexible way to manage audio across multiple Manhattan buildings as real estate changes and studio layouts kept shifting. Working with Avid Technology and its Pro Tools | MTRX platform, the team had to support a complex, Pro Tools-based workflow for film, TV, and rental clients while moving projects quickly between rooms without extensive rewiring.

Avid Technology’s Pro Tools | MTRX provided Postworks with a Dante-enabled, MADI-capable routing and monitoring hub that simplified studio reconfiguration and supported Dolby Atmos and multi-room workflows. The result was faster room-to-room project transfers, fewer cables and interfaces to manage, and a more scalable setup that let two S6 mix stages share one MTRX unit while maintaining secure, flexible audio routing.
