Linkin Park’s World Tour with Avid VENUE | S6L

Linkin Park embarked on their One More Light World Tour with FOH engineer Brad Madix mixing the band on an Avid VENUE | S6L live sound system. The tour needed a way to handle Linkin Park’s wide range of styles—from pop and rock to rap and electronic—while giving the engineer fast access to complex mix changes from song to song.

Avid Technology’s VENUE | S6L helped Madix map key controls to the surface, organize custom layouts by song and instrument, and manage plugins more efficiently, improving workflow and flexibility. He said the system was a step up in audio quality, and its integration with Pro Tools reduced interfaces and setup time, while show recordings also provided high-quality content for DVD and social media use.
