Las Vegas Jazz Club Delivers World class Sound

Myron’s Cabaret Jazz, the intimate 240-seat venue at The Smith Center in Las Vegas, needed a sound upgrade to handle bigger shows and more complex mixes. Led by head audio engineer Kevin Harvey and monitor engineer Kevin Ruschmann, the venue had outgrown its aging Avid SC48 consoles, which lacked enough inputs, DSP, and flexibility for the acts they hosted.

Avid Technology’s VENUE | S6L consoles, paired with a new Meyer Sound LINA system, replaced the old setup and delivered a major boost in clarity, workflow, and power. The team said the upgrade made mixing easier, improved in-ear monitoring, expanded Pro Tools recording to up to 128 inputs, and allowed seamless I/O sharing; the result was a more user-friendly, future-ready system that made the room sound better than ever.
