Future-proofing TVC Moscow’s Media Archive

TVC, one of Russia’s largest state-run broadcasters, needed to modernize its Moscow media archive because its legacy hardware and archive tools were obsolete, unsupported, and difficult to connect across a rapidly growing volume of content. Working with Avid Technology and systems integrator Vidau Systems, TVC looked for a scalable asset management solution that could support migration, customization, and long-term growth.

Avid Technology implemented Avid Everywhere and MediaCentral, including Interplay | MAM from the Avid Media Suite, to upgrade TVC’s archive and retrieval workflows. The result was faster access, repurposing, and distribution of assets, a much more streamlined search process, and the ability to store and manage far more content with better metadata tagging—helping TVC find, access, and monetize its archive more efficiently.
