Fueling Graphics Creativity for Ireland’s TV3

TV3, Ireland’s leading commercial broadcaster, needed to revitalize its traditional daily studio production and improve workflows from ingest to playout. To do this, TV3 turned to Avid Technology and its tightly integrated MediaCentral Platform, along with Avid Studio Suite tools such as 4Designer and Maestro.

Avid Technology implemented an end-to-end studio workflow with next-generation graphics capabilities for news, panel shows, and sports, while also supporting users through Avid Global Services. The result was a more intuitive system that required less retraining, enabled journalists to create and playout high-resolution 3D graphics without always relying on the graphics team, and delivered clear commercial and creative benefits for the business.
