Final Cut Expands Production with Pro Tools | S6

Final Cut, a boutique post-production house with facilities in London, New York, and Los Angeles, wanted to expand beyond offline editing by adding integrated audio post-production to create new revenue opportunities and improve creative speed. To support this, Final Cut worked with Avid Technology and adopted Avid Pro Tools | S6 as part of an Avid-based workflow.

Avid Technology implemented a fully integrated audio and video production environment built around Pro Tools | S6, Avid MediaCentral, and existing Avid ISIS 5000 shared storage and Media Composer systems. The result was faster and safer workflows, easier collaboration, and more flexible session management; Final Cut reported greater production efficiencies and more revenue, and said the modular Avid S6 setup would support future expansion into additional sound suites.
