Bond University Prepares Students for Success with Avid

Bond University’s Film and Television program needed to prepare students for real-world careers in a highly competitive global industry. To do that, the university wanted the same professional tools used by film, TV, and audio production companies, and it partnered with Avid Technology to build an industry-standard learning environment using products such as Media Composer and Pro Tools.

Avid Technology implemented a suite of professional post-production and audio solutions across Bond University’s facilities, including Media Composer, Pro Tools, Mbox interfaces, Avid VENUE | SC48, and C|24 systems. The result was a hands-on curriculum that supports more than 400 student film and audio productions each year, totaling over 150 terabytes of rushes, while helping graduates build the skills needed for successful careers in Australia and abroad.
