Award-winning Editing Team Led by Eddie Hamilton Unleashes its Avid Everywhere Armoury on Kingsman The Secret Service

Kingsman, the blockbuster film *Kingsman: The Secret Service*, needed a fast, highly collaborative post-production workflow to manage multiple storylines, around 300 hours of footage, and thousands of VFX iterations. The editorial team led by Eddie Hamilton used Avid Technology’s Media Composer, along with Avid Artist Suite and Storage Suite on the Avid MediaCentral platform, to keep the project organized and moving quickly.

Avid Technology’s Media Composer and ISIS | 5500 shared storage enabled multiple editors and assistant editors to work on the same sequences at the same time, with smooth media sharing, VFX mockups, and easy handoffs to sound and music teams using Pro Tools. The result was a tightly polished edit delivered efficiently under heavy creative pressure, including a four-minute skydiving sequence built from 15 hours of footage and a climactic 25-minute finale refined over two to three months.
