Avid Powers Production Across France for M6 Group

M6 Group, the French television network behind M6, was struggling with fragmented media management: different departments used separate systems, databases, and workflows, making collaboration, content sharing, and archive access inefficient. To solve this, M6 worked with Avid Technology and its Avid Everywhere vision, centered on Interplay | MAM, to create a centralized workflow for more than 1,800 media professionals.

Avid Technology implemented and integrated Interplay | MAM across M6’s infrastructure, unifying media sharing for 50 users across 4 departments, standardizing metadata, and automating imports from external suppliers. The results included faster editorial access to media, easier remote collaboration, reduced duplicate purchases, and major time savings—such as cutting about half a workday from each image import—while helping M6 save time and resources across the organization.
