Avid NEXIS Shared Storage Provides More Efficiency and Tightly Integrated Solutions at CINE PLUS

CINE PLUS, one of Germany’s leading media service providers, needed to upgrade its post-production storage to handle rising customer demand for higher resolutions and larger data volumes. Working with Avid Technology, the company looked for a more stable, energy-efficient, and high-performance solution to support its existing Avid infrastructure and extensive editing operations.

Avid Technology implemented Avid NEXIS | E4 and Avid NEXIS | PRO storage across CINE PLUS’s facilities, integrating them with MediaCentral, Media Composer, and third-party tools. The result was smoother installation, faster media access, and easier daily workflows, with copying steps in the post-production process eliminated and operating costs reduced; CINE PLUS is now planning five additional Avid NEXIS | PRO systems to expand the benefits across more locations.
