Avid Keeps Full Sail at the Top of Media Education

Full Sail University needed to keep its audio and video labs, studios, and student Launch Boxes current so graduates could train on the same tools used in the entertainment industry. Working with Avid Technology and its Avid Media Campus program, Full Sail looked for a cost-effective way to upgrade its curriculum and technology while preparing students for real-world workflows and certification.

Avid Technology implemented upgrades across Full Sail’s campus, including Avid S6 control surfaces, Avid NEXIS shared storage, and Avid VENUE | S6L systems, along with access to Pro Tools, Media Composer, and Sibelius. The program also added faculty training, certification coursework, three-year software subscriptions, and direct support. As a result, Full Sail University delivered more advanced hands-on training, kept all students on the latest software versions, and improved the software experience for its students.
