Avid Expands Education at Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences

The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences (CRAS) in Arizona needed to replace its aging live analog console with a modern system that could network across classrooms and integrate with its existing Pro Tools environment. CRAS chose Avid Technology’s D-Show System with Avid VENUE software to better train students for today’s live sound and recording workflows.

Avid Technology implemented the D-Show/VENUE solution, enabling tighter Pro Tools integration, virtual soundcheck, digital signal flow training, and hands-on FOH mixing in real-world conditions. The result was a significantly expanded curriculum, more efficient use of space and hardware, and stronger student preparation for professional audio careers, with access to a constantly refreshed library of multitrack sessions and industry-standard tools.
