Al Baghdadia TV Enhances News Production with Avid Everywhere

Al Baghdadia TV, a Middle East broadcaster based in Cairo, needed to migrate from SD to HD while improving news turnaround time across its newsroom, studios, and field teams. Working with Avid Technology, the broadcaster chose the Avid MediaCentral platform, including iNEWS, Media Composer | NewsCutter Option, ISIS shared storage, and AirSpeed 5000, to unify production workflows.

Avid Technology implemented an end-to-end file-based workflow that connected reporters, producers, and editors through a web-based interface and centralized media storage. The result was faster collaboration, more efficient ingest, editing, and archive access, and greater agility in news production; Al Baghdadia TV also expanded ISIS storage to 128 TB, eight times larger than before, helping it improve quality and exceed audience expectations.
