A AVI Systems Case Study

Preview of the Simulation in Motion Case Study

Simulation in Motion - Customer Case Study

Simulation in Motion, a mobile education initiative created by the South Dakota Department of Health with Avera Health, Regional Health, and Sanford Health, needed a way to train pre-hospital and hospital emergency care providers for rare but critical incidents. They turned to AVI Systems to help equip a custom-built mobile learning lab with AV technology that could support realistic, high-stress emergency training in an ambulance-like environment.

AVI Systems worked with Rosenbauer America to outfit the 44-foot mobile lab with Shure microphones, ClearOne audio systems, four Vaddio WallVIEW 70 PTZ cameras, and a Crestron control system, along with large-format LED monitors for training content. The result was a fully functional simulation environment that let providers practice repeatedly with lifelike patient mannequins and receive focused feedback; the case study does not provide specific quantitative results, but it enabled more accessible, realistic emergency medical education across South Dakota.
