Midcontinent Communications Ensuring a Smooth Transition for a Network Relocation

Midcontinent Communications, a regional broadband, TV, and phone provider serving more than 300,000 customers across 335 communities, needed to relocate to a new facility after outgrowing its old space. The company turned to AVI Systems to help manage the move for its Network Operations Center (NOC) and studio while ensuring service remained smooth and reliable throughout the transition.

AVI Systems planned the project for nearly a year and coordinated design, installation, and scheduling for the NOC’s 2 x 6 Samsung 55-inch video wall and studio systems. The result was a well-managed move with minimal disruption, and Midcontinent reported that the NOC video wall looked amazing and met the goal of creating an impressive, high-visibility control center.
