Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), the largest U.S. options exchange, needed a way to support its education initiatives with a dedicated facility for onsite seminars and training, alongside its existing online courses and webcasts. CBOE enlisted AVI Systems to design, integrate, and support the technology for its main auditorium and Options Institute Classroom, including lecture capture capabilities.

AVI Systems equipped the 400-person auditorium and classroom with sound systems, tabletop microphones, in-ceiling speakers, acoustical treatments, Sony pan/tilt/zoom cameras, Epson projection systems, and Mediasite RL lecture capture recorders. The solution enables live instruction to be captured, recorded, archived, and streamed on demand, helping CBOE deliver and preserve training content for traders from beginner to advanced levels.
