Crain Communications, a Chicago-based media company, partnered with AVI Systems during a corporate relocation that offered a chance to overhaul its AV setup. The challenge was to redesign meeting rooms, a TV studio, and editing rooms—especially two webcast studios, a centralized production control room, and four Final Cut Pro editing systems tied to Editshare storage across multiple floors and a data center.

AVI Systems designed and installed four presentation conference rooms and added AV capabilities to Crain’s café for video and voice lift presentations. The team also moved and upgraded the studio and editing systems over a weekend, getting the video production environment operational within ten days of the move. The result was a seamless transition to the new headquarters with improved AV capabilities and no disruption to Crain’s audience.
