E-470 Public Highway Authority, a political subdivision of the State of Colorado, needed to upgrade its command center as the highway system expanded rapidly. The old facility was cramped and outdated, and the team needed a more efficient operations environment that could support critical monitoring duties within a tight three-month timeline. AVI Systems was brought in to help modernize the space with the right technology.

AVI Systems installed a 2x4 Samsung commercial-grade video wall with a tvOne CORIOmaster processor, a Black Box KVM solution, and a 10-inch Crestron touch panel to give operators fast access to highway surveillance, weather, and other sources. The new command center improved visibility and control, helping staff monitor vehicles, cameras, and incidents around the clock so they could respond more quickly and keep the roadway safer.
