4 Bears Casino and Lodge Event Center, based in New Town, North Dakota, set out to turn its renovated $47 million venue into a true multi-purpose destination capable of hosting concerts, rodeos, sporting events, theatrical productions, and more. To support that “2020 Vision,” the casino needed a flexible audiovisual infrastructure that could adapt from one event type to the next, while also improving visibility, sound quality, and ease of control across the 85,000-square-foot facility. AVI Systems was brought in to help define and deliver the AV strategy.

AVI Systems implemented a comprehensive solution that included Crestron switching and control, Dante networked audio, time-aligned Innovox speakers, QSC paging, Shure wireless microphones, Panasonic cameras and monitors, digital signage, and centralized control from a main operations room. The result was a highly versatile event center with zone-based audio, local box-suite control, strong broadcast capability, and streamlined setup for different events night to night. 4 Bears said AVI Systems “went above and beyond,” helping translate long-term goals into practical technology that supports the venue’s growth and future expansion.
