El Paso Corporation, a major independent natural gas producer based in Houston, was renovating its 32-story headquarters and needed robust communications and control systems to support collaboration, training, and real-time monitoring of markets and pipeline operations. AVI-SPL was brought in to deliver video collaboration and networked signal distribution and control while keeping day-to-day business disruption to a minimum.

AVI-SPL implemented video conferencing, control systems, and networked audio-video distribution across the building in phased rollouts, relocating staff temporarily as work progressed. The solution included Crestron control and scheduling tools, displays, projectors, and digital signage, giving El Paso centralized control of common-area screens and better-equipped meeting rooms. As a result, employees gained more productive conference spaces and improved visibility into operations and energy market activity, though no specific quantitative impact was provided.
