Peabody Orlando Hotel partnered with AVI-SPL during its $450 million expansion and renovation to upgrade technology across its meeting, pre-function, and common areas. The hotel needed flexible AV solutions that could support everything from large corporate events to weddings while enhancing the guest and meeting planner experience, using technologies from Crestron and Polycom.

AVI-SPL implemented a state-of-the-art sound and control system covering 311,156 square feet, adding audio systems and speakers tailored for indoor and outdoor areas, Crestron touch panel room controls, and a Media Matrix Nion System to route any source to any location. The result was a highly adaptable environment with 60 new meeting rooms, 101 total rooms, and ballroom capabilities that support live productions and video conferencing, helping AVI-SPL deliver a solution that met the hotel’s diverse event needs.
